Equal parts sangiovese and alicante bouschet, this is an intriguing red with a clear Mediterranean profile. Its bosky fruit provides a red glow over the tannins, which feel gravelly, warm and black. Smoky and spicy, this is a full-bodied wine to serve with boar ragù.
