Tasting Notes
Color: Intense ruby colour with light maroon edge. Clean and bright, with thin tears.
Nose: It is a red wine with a medium-intensity nose, with red fruit well-integrated with pleasant and not very intense aromas of wood and spiced notes.
Flavor: In the mouth, it shows a fresh mid-palate marked by a great load of fruit. It is a sweet medium-body wine with a correct acidity. Average finish at a fruity and toasted retro-olfaction.

Winemaker Notes
There are poor lands charged horizons and silences, and harsh lands, which are, however, a bonanza for the vine and wine. Cuenca is the example. On the road that leads to its highlands, leaving Tarancón the back towards the historic city, a small temple of wine gets up. It is a place of prayer to worship the god Bacchus but a new winery of our time. The winery is adapted to the vineyard that surrounds it, joining it as the 'château' from the 'cru', while adapting to landscape with its Moorish architecture typically brick Mancha. The building is open to the north, leaving the front facade a large garden space as an oasis of freshness and tranquility that contrasts with twinkling steel tubs open, as they appear in the Californian wineries. The whole landscape of human work is the result of illusion Cantarero Rodríguez family, tanning surname in different wine adventures with deep roots in these lands Cuenca. The philosophy that created the winery bet is to reveal the profile of quality wines that possess these lands without the consumer having to pay a price beyond reason. Finca La Estacada has 278 hectares of vineyards, all located in the vicinity of the winery, the farthest being about 7-10 miles. Of these 278 acres, 106 are Tempranillo, with a mean age of 25 years, 59 of Cabernet, 32 Syrah, Merlot 8. Moreover, in recent years it has expanded planting new varieties such as Cabernet Franc, Carignan, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Use varieties such as Tempranillo, Spain's most prestigious, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, as great ladies of the world's viticulture and Syrah emerging as the star of the Rhone and Australia, is not just a fashion choice. It is also a desire to rival the best wines in the world.
